God's Gifts
God was just about done creating the universe but she had two extra
items left over in her bag so she decided to split them between Adam and
Eve.
She told them that one of the things she had left was something that
would allow the owner to pee while standing up. "It is a rather handy
thing," God told them, "and I was wondering if either one of you felt
you could use such a gift."
Adam jumped up and down and begged, "Oh yes, please give that to me!
I'd love to be able to do that." On and on he went like an excited
little boy.
Eve smiled and lovingly told God that if Adam really wanted it so badly,
he should have it.
So God gave it to Adam.
Adam was so excited he went off to write his name in the sand, laughing
with delight all the while.
God and Eve watched him for a moment and then God said to Eve, "Well,
you may have the other thing as we can both see Adam will never have any
use for it."
"What's it called?" Eve asked.
